The prices quoted above are an estimate only. We offer a bespoke service that caters to a wide range of circumstances. Where we need to charge a different price for the work we do for you, we will always tell you what the costs are in advance and make sure you fully understand why we need to charge for them.

Examples of where additional work that may incur a charge:

  • Help to Buy Schemes. The additional time it takes to fill in the paperwork required by the Scheme Providers and Lenders is several hours of our time. This typically means we charge an extra £500.
  • Declarations of Trust. If you are buying a property and have a complicated agreement with your co-purchaser (which is not covered by a standard Tenants in Common or Joint Tenants agreement) we typically charge £250.
  • Where you need additional advice on a tenancy agreement if you are buying or selling buy-to-let property our fees are charged on an hourly-rate basis.
  • If you are selling or buying a property with a defective lease and this needs to be varied we typically charge an additional £250 to £400.
